Over the years, the podcast has steadily grown an audience of over 300,000 listeners globally. Until now, I’ve recorded my episodes exclusively in Mandarin. However, going forward I plan to expand the show by launching an English version as well. This will allow me to reach a wider international audience with my content.
On the podcast, I take a thoughtful look at how technology is shaping society, for better or worse. Topics include social media, AI, privacy rights, free speech, and more. My goal is to have nuanced conversations about these complex issues. I bring on experts from various fields like tech ethics, law, and public policy to provide diverse perspectives.
Some highlights from past episodes include interviews with leading cybersecurity experts on protecting personal data, discussions on regulating big tech companies, and conversations with civil liberty organizations about censorship and freedom of expression online.
I draw from my own background in tech and years of writing about and commenting on these topics. In addition to hosting the podcast, I publish articles, speak at conferences, and provide commentary on technology issues. I’m fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and German.
The English version of the podcast will launch on Google Podcast in early 2024. I hope longtime listeners will enjoy the expanded reach, while new audiences can discover the show. My aim is to foster thoughtful dialogue around our digital lives through a global lens.
Please subscribe on Google Podcast now and stay tuned for the English podcast launch! I’m excited to continue growing the show’s community and reach.
